This website started out as a Tumblr Blog (younggirlwriting.tumblr.com). I had orginally made the blog so people could follow my progress as I started the long journey in attempt to someday become a published author. I know for now these updates might not mean much, but if I'm lucky, one day, whether it's years from now or into two, I'll be an a famous author and my reader's will have something to look back on. I hope that one day this website will be in the inspiration that other aspiring authors need to make their own dreams a reality.

I'm well aware that my goal requires a lot of dreaming and even more hope, but I'm confident that someday I'll get there. After all, you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

Since my last update, I have managed to write almost three thousand more words bringing me up to the grand total of 12,960 words. The first two chapters are now offically completed and the third chapter is well on it's way. So far, there is 3,157 words in Chapter 3, with many more to come. chapters three and four are the first steps of the overall climax. Here we find out the truth behind the protagonist's whole life and we first start to hear of the whole overall conflict of this novel.

While I'm definitely starting to second guess some of the things I wrote in the second chapter (I don't know if it's all authors or just me, but usually I get really nervous when I finish a chapter. I'm constantly worrying whether it's good enough or if it just plan out sucks), I'm starting starting to realize that, that can be fixed during editing and that I don't have to panic about it right now. However, in all honestyy, I'm actually really confident and proud of how Chapter 3 has turned out so far. I think it might actually be one of the better chapter's that I've written. Let's just hope that when and if this novel ever becomes a published novel, that my readers will feel the same way.

After tonight, when I hopefully finish Day Nine's par for Camp NaNoWriMo (today is Day Six), I'll be able to make a detailed outline of what happens in chapters 4-8. While I have a pretty decent idea of what's going to unfold, I always feel more confident and sure when I actually have my ideas written down.

Until the next updae, happy writing and reading!
